STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Vintage Stone Pendants

The only good thing about summer ending is two words… fall shopping! I’m so excited to sport the newest runway trends around campus this semester, such as short skirts, one shoulder pieces and simple plaid. I’ve been trying to hold out on wearing my newest finds for fall, but, of course, I can’t.

When I started talking to this Fashionista, she had the same problem. Only she mastered incorporated her newest fall finds into her end of summer style.

What stuck out to me was her vintage stone pendants. The deep red and ice blue colors complement each other perfectly and most importantly, they are perfect for the fall season. What makes these necklaces even cooler is the fact that they were both hand made. This would be such a RAD DIY for one of your last girl nights in! Not only are these necklaces in style but everyone is unique. The way the metal is twisted depends on the size and shape of the stone you pick out!

This Fashionista also sports a beautiful printed maxi skirt with a hunter green crop top tank layered over a black bralette. To keep the focus on her layered vintage necklaces, she kept her other accessories simple with a deep yellow ring and a few beaded bracelets. To finish off this look, she put on some brown sandals.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Goodbye bras, and hello bralettes! Bralettes are my newest obsession; they are perfect for covering up that ugly bra no one wants to see. Plus they are super comfy. Bralettes for life.”
