STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Patching Things Up

We Fashionistas and Fashionistos have been through every trend possible, and finding your own style isn’t always the easiest; though that doesn’t mean stop trying. You should always want to feel and be confident in whatever you decide to put on. Do not be afraid to be yourself and show off your own personal style. So many times Fashionistas run from trend to trend. Why not start your own? In the photos you see, obviously this Fashionista is sticking to her guns. She is wearing a jacket with patches, and a snap back to match, ripped jeans and we cannot forget the boots.

This Fashionista is showcasing what we would call, edgy, grudge or even a little street. Grunge can be best described as care-free and bad to the bone. From the black jacket, hat and boots to match. Stay out of this Fashionistas way. Closing in on the jacket, you may have noticed patches with either symbols, letters or words. Now I don’t know about you guys, but this is the coolest thing ever. The sight of patches may make you think of your brother’s varsity jacket, but you can do so much more with them.

The great thing of this Fashionistas style is you can do it yourself. Now in days if you want something this cool, your best bet is to get the materials yourself. All you need are a few iron-on of your favorite things, a sweater and a denim jacket. Don’t like patches on your jacket? Try a hat or even your jeans, though don’t go overboard. Too many patches and you’ll look like a sticker sheet.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I would say, go for what you know. I like my style because it’s what I feel comfortable in.”
