STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Fur-galicious

I don’t know about everyone else, but the weird heat wave-type weather that has been going through the East Coast has been throwing me off both mentally and fashionably, which essentially go hand in hand (If you’re like me and need to mentally prepare to pick a good outfit). Now that it’s getting colder, us, Fashionistas can start to bring out our favorite winter essentials. This Fashionista dug out her winter favorites just in time for 2016, giving inspiration to college Fashionistas everywhere in the new year.

Starting with her furry vest, this Fashionista stays warm and on-trend. Whether your fur is black, brown, gray, belted or open, fur vests aren’t going anywhere. Invest in a good one to last you through a few winters to help with your layering. From Free People to francesca’s, get a great vest in those New Year sales!

Moving on, this Fashionista wears a pair of awesome lace-up booties with her gray socks peaking out. During the winter months, I do everything I can to keep my feet warm and cozy. Calf-high and knee-high socks are essential for your winter wardrobe. Pulled over top of your jeans, like this Fashionista did, is the fashion statement of the year. A new way of layering, peaking socks add a variety of color, texture and warmth into your outfit!

Minimal accessories and a high pony top off this Fashionista’s look. It’s a perfect winter outfit with all of the essentials, such as fur, trendy jeans, booties and high socks. It is G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S!

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “You don’t need to over-accessorize to have an interesting outfit. I wear my simple, dainty necklace, a few rings and my studs everyday! When I want to dress it up, I do, but sometimes that’s just enough!”
