Florals have been a continuous trend for the past couple seasons and it looks like it’s not going anywhere any time soon. So one might ask, how can I keep my florals and stay warm for the winter? The answer is so simple, go vintage! You would be so surprised how many floral long sleeve fleece and jackets you will find in a thrift store. The 80’s carried so many of them.

This Fashionista added one thrifted piece to her wardrobe to add a piece of creativity to her outfit that kept the floral trend going. She wanted to keep her vintage edge but also make the outfit contemporary by keeping it a little tight on her body. The skinny jean, cream turtleneck and brown buckle boots showed us that this Fashionista isn’t completely stuck in the past. She knows exactly how to embrace it.

Adding one or two thrifted items to your wardrobe allows your creativity to shine through your outfit because most times you have to find something in your closet to work with it. And florals aren’t the easiest to match. Using this outfit idea is a great started to get used to thrift shopping by picking one theme and creating as you go during the season.
