STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Dress To Impress

Even some lovers of fashion can get stressed out by the idea of putting a lot of effort into an outfit every day of the week. I’ll be the first to say it is sometimes a stress of mine. To be honest, a good outfit can easily be stress free!

What may seem like an unoriginal or boring outfit can quickly be fixed with even the slightest additions of other pieces from your wardrobe. These things might not be something you thought to pair with your initial outfit choice, but look at what you own and see what stands out. Without the leather jacket, this Fashionisto’s outfit becomes somewhat business casual. His plain light colored button-down is nicely tucked into his dark jeans with a belt. The jeans look fresh and not tattered up like that favorite pair that some of us continue to hold on to. You know that pair we keep wearing even though they they really need to go to denim heaven? This Fashionisto makes sure to keep it clean with some classy black lace-up kicks that really help tie in the business casual vibe.

This Fashionisto has provided us with a perfect example of what I am talking about by adding a slight addition to his outfit so that he stands out in a good way. The addition of the black leather jacket gives his clean look a little edginess while still showing that he has done his fashion homework.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “You should always dress to impress because you never know who you are going to run into or meet. Who knows, I could randomly bump into the president of our school one day on campus.”
