The first denim jacket was created in 1880 by Levi Strauss. This jacket was worn out west by cowboys, railroad workers and miners. In the 1950’s, the jacket became part of the bad boy look. In the 1970s, the jacket became a part of any hippie’s attire. This jacket has quickly become a cult favorite and a classic American piece.
