There is just something so sweet and endearing about this Fashionista’s look. As you can see, it does not strive far away from the classic schoolgirl look (with a button-up cardigan, mini skirt and oxfords) at all, but it is instead comfortably romantic and effortlessly camel-chromatic-chic!
Her outfit most definitely puts a twist on what we normally envision as proper prep school attire as she leaves the commonplace palette of oxblood reds, navy blues, whites and antiquated collegiate insignias out of the picture! I am absolutely loving this updated and laid back version of the classic trend. Though her palette is somewhat derived of the same color, it is still has a tasteful leisurely style and is visually interesting in its entirety.
Here, this Fashionista substitutes the white polo or button-up dress shirt with a cream knit crop tank. Likewise, instead of a pleated dark plaid skirt, she opts for a camel corduroy circle skirt that starts at her waist. Overall, her ensemble preserves the schoolgirl spirit despite the slight changes. She still sports a thick classic cardigan, quality camel brown oxfords, crew socks that peek out atop and a solid backpack.
It may be her wispy updo, delicate presence or the beautiful shadows from our campus’ trees, but this Fashionista is a vision to say the least!
