STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: A Pop of Pattern

The perfect way to dress for the early summer weather was perfectly demonstrated by this weeks Fashionista. While still remaining as comfortable as can be, she outfitted herself in the perfect pair of tribal-print palazzo pants, a simple white tank top and a cozy gray cardigan. The overall look of her ensemble contains a bohemian vibe all while still remaining casual and fitting for the spring/summer season.

The bottoms are what truly stands out in this outfit at first glance. Palazzo pants are quite popular lately for their supreme comfort as well as their range of different styles and colors available. These lightweight pants are the perfect way to rock a fun and summery pattern this season. This Fashionista chose a very fun yet bold print to wear on bottom while balancing out the outfit with simple colors on top. These purple-toned, tribal-print pants go together perfectly with her neutral-colored tank top and slouchy cardigan. This look is perfect for a day of shopping around town or walking around campus and going to classes.

The comfort and ease of the outfit was due not only to the pants but to the tank top and sweater combination as well. The white crop top is a must-have in everybody’s closet for the summer season. You can wear it with just about anything and in almost any type of weather. This slouchy sweater was the perfect choice to go with the top because it can be easily removed to adjust to any weather changes throughout the day.

The look is topped off with a cute pair of strappy black sandals and a few pieces of simple jewelry. She picked the perfect pair of shoes to go along with this pair of pants because they are both cute yet very simple. Lastly, there is the silver necklace and the rings, which manage to dress up the outfit a bit without distracting too much from the patterned bottoms.

What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK?: “My advice would be to not be afraid of bold patters or statement pieces. Fashion is supposed to be fun; let it represent your own style!”
