STYLE ADVICE: Class Chic

With winter finally gone and spring upon us, it’s the perfect time to pull out those cute outfits for class. Every Fashionista can slay the classroom this season by following these few tips.

The infamous quote, “Less is more,” holds to still be true. Being that you’re dressing for a classroom setting, it may be best to save your favorite bedazzled skirt or low cut top for another occasion. As seen by this Fashionista, she chose to go for a more simple top and a pair of boyfriend jeans. Something as casual can easily be dressed up with the right accessories.

Yes that’s right, you can never go wrong with accessorizing… well you can but I’m going to give you a few tips that can stop you from unsuccessfully styling your outfit. Tip number one would be to pick a common style throughout your accessories so that everything flows properly. For example, this particular Fashionista chose to go for a bohemian style when deciding what she wanted to pair with this look.

My second tip of advice would be to be careful not to under or over accessorize. This is a common problem I notice people struggle with. Always make sure to take into consideration the particular outfit you’re wearing before just placing random pieces of jewelry on.

My final tip would be to pick one statement piece, and of course, have fun with your look. My lovely muse chose for her statement piece, a pair of bigger size of gold hoops which ended up complimenting her look very well.

Lastly, when finalizing your perfect look for school be sure to finalize the other details such as shoes, hair, and makeup. A sneaker or small wedge is always perfect for school because it can be comfortable yet stylish.
