Packing 101—The Do’s and Don’ts of Summer Travel

Schools out, buns are out and flights around the world are being booked. ‘Tis the season for traveling! But with travel comes the burden of having to pick and choose between all the clothes you wish you could take with you and those that can actually fit in your suitcase.

When it comes to packing and paying ridiculous baggage fees, you have to be smart as to what you should and should not take with you on trips. Essentials, comfort and versatility are three key characteristics that you should strive for when picking out your potential travel outfits.

Traveling means a lot of eating, walking and exploring so you have to make sure your clothes are comfortable and have plenty of room to carry that food baby that will develop along the way. Making space in your suitcase is always easy if you pack clothing that is versatile enough to create multiple outfits out of. One easy way to go about this is to go with basics and solids. Basics do not make you basic if the styling is rad.

Before you pull out your suitcase, be sure to check out how our Style Guru’s styles are packing overseas. After all, your bag can only hold fifty pounds’ worth of chicness.
