With summer just around the corner, everyone is looking for the perfect healthy snack for those hot summer days. Personally, my favorite snack is a smoothie bowl. They are quick and easy to make in the comfort of your own home. They are also super healthy so you can keep your perfect summer body. Smoothie bowls don’t require too many things, and you can make it to tailor to your own personal taste.
Some things you need to make your bowl is a blender for your smoothie, yogurt, fruit, granola, a bowl, and a spoon. There are so many different kinds of smoothies you can make for this bowl, but I chose to make a strawberry, banana, and blueberry smoothie. Below is a list of the ingredients and steps I used to make my delicious at-home smoothie bowl.
- ½ cup of strawberries
- ½ cup of blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1 cup of mixed berry Oikos yogurt
- 1 teaspoon of peanut butter
- Gather and cut up your fruit
- Make your smoothie
- Pour it into a bowl
- Put on your toppings
- Eat and enjoy!
After you make your smoothie, you can pour it into any size bowl you’d like so you can put your toppings on. You can cut up fruit, granola, seeds, chocolate chips, and plenty of any of your favorite toppings. For my smoothie, I cut up strawberries, bananas, and blueberries on top and added granola on the side to give it more flavor. After you add your toppings, your smoothie bowl is done and ready to be eaten! The best thing about this is you get to make a delicious snack at home and you can use any fruits you like.
