I Recreated My Favorite Looks From Instagram, Here’s How It Turned Out

While mindlessly scrolling through Instagram, we’re all guilty of experiencing severe outfit-envy and discovering aesthetic goal crushes that we low-key stalk on a daily.  No shame.  But have you ever noticed, no matter how on-point your OOTD, social media enthusiasts always seem one step ahead?

Influencers and bloggers are undoubtedly the new tastemakers of obtainable and relatable style, creating millions of snag-worthy looks right at our fingertips (literally). Today, we’re buying things because they’re trending, and they’re trending because they’re on social.

Social media has acted as the millennial generation’s push to explore personal style and curate fresh, unique looks that can then be shared, recreated, and reaffirmed by the world. Here’s a few appropriated looks from my favorite feeds. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, am I right?

Take advantage of those “she is so cool, I want to be her,” moments and allow it-girls to drive your fashion sense in cool, new directions. The trend has to start somewhere, and what better way to gain inspiration than your go-to ‘grammers?
