Sure, today may just seem like your average Monday. But to you math nerds and pizza fans out there, today is pretty much a national holiday. That’s right it’s pi day! And no—that is not a typo. Pi, as in the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter aka the number that literally goes on forever (3.14159265358….) or 3.14 for short.
Did we lose you? Come back! We’re about to celebrate! To commemorate this monumental mathematical number and our love of puns, we decided to be super cheesy and celebrate Pi Day with our favorite pi(e)…pizza pie that is.
So grab a slice (or seven) with your friends, talk about how you are in awe of math majors and chow down. Because any celebration that involves pizza is 3.14159265358 times amazing in our book.
