FASHION FROM ABROAD: Comfy And Chic

Traveling the world is the number one thing to do on my bucket list; I’m sure it’s on yours as well. Traveling allows you to experience different cultures, exotic foods and new fashion trends (my personal favorite). I am currently studying abroad at the University of Oviedo in Spain! Oviedo is a small city located five hours north of Madrid. This city has a lot to offer, including fashion trends that have changed my perspective of style.

This Fashionista’s outfit is ideal for traveling around Spain. Her look includes a jersey trapeze style dress, a pink scarf, a cross-body bag and comfortable sandals. All of these simple pieces create a comfortable and stylish look perfect for sightseeing or brunch in a café. This Fashionista’s jersey trapeze dress is very on-trend. I love this dress because it can quickly be thrown on when you are rushing in the morning, but it still looks very stylish. Also, this dress is super comfy and comes in every color, pattern and fabric imaginable. The easiest way to accessorize this dress is with a long necklace or scarf. This Fashionista chose a pink scarf, which gives her outfit a pop of color. Also in Oviedo, the weather constantly changes, so opting for a lightweight scarf is smart. Her purse of choice is a rectangular cross-body bag. Cross-body bags are always the best choice for shopping and traveling around a busy city. Also, keeping her purse simple makes her dress and scarf the standout pieces of her outfit. I can tell this Fashionista knows the best way to dress comfy just by looking at her shoes. She is wearing a pair of white Birkenstock sandals. Birkenstocks are definitely making a comeback, which is great because they are super comfortable.
