BEAUTY BAR: Crimped Hair

There are so many makeup and hair trends these days it is hard to keep up. Just like fashion, beauty moves fast and staying ahead can be a difficult task. Finding new and unique ways to style your hair can make all the difference in your look and confidence. Putting a new twist on something is a perfect way to experiment with your look. Instead of joining one of the current trends, this Fashionista uses a fun throwback to an oldie but a goodie.

Crimping: I know it may seem juvenile and to be left in the middle school days (especially for us ‘90s babies), but you might want to dust off that crimper. This Fashionista crimped her hair and clipped some of it back while leaving some bangs hanging in the front, which looks awesome with her ombré coloring. She loosely crimped her hair instead of it being very tight which is what you may picture when you first think of crimped hair. This creates a laid back yet put together look that goes great with her black loose dress. The hair has somewhat of an edgy side which is complemented by her knee socks and booties. Simple makeup and accessories go a long way since the hair can do the talking. A fun pop of color in the bag is the final touch and you are ready for just about anything with this fun summer look!

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR? To recreate this look you’ll need a crimper, something edgy like knee-high socks and a pop of color.
