BEAUTY BAR: Beach Wave Envy

Some of us are fortunate enough to live right along the ocean and are able to swim in the salty ocean all day long. Some of us however, are not so fortunate. For those of us stuck in the middle of the midwest, miles away from from the sandy beaches, we are at a disadvantage. Achieving beach wave curls is easiest when it comes from the salty air of the ocean blowing through it.

This Fashionista has perfected the casual, loose waves we are all dying to have. The fun and more natural curl is a new alternative to the tight loops that curling irons give us. People are switching out their usual time consuming hair curling for these beach waves due to the fact that it is much healthier, easier and faster. The loose look can be dressed up or down, and this fashionista decided to wear a look right down the middle. A floppy hat looks great paired with the beach waves, especially one in fall’s favorite color: bordeaux! This Fashionista completed her look by wearing a white leather T-shirt dress, gold bangles and block heeled sandals. The look screams glamour like Blake Lively, while staying casual like a girl right off the beach.

What’s on the BEAUTY BAR: Spray your wet hair with Ogx’s Kukui Oil for anti-frizz and hydration. Dry it and wrap your hair around a Goody heat curling wand. Don’t hold the hair there for too long—just long enough to create a wave. After that, scrunch the ends of your hair with Ogx’s Moroccan Argan Oil. Make the look last with Pantene Fine Hairspray.
