Copy These Cool Bag Trends That Our Community is Obsessing Over

Unique Handbags

Handbags are easily my favorite accessories. I’ve been known to spend my grocery money on a purse even when I can’t afford to (although, the buying a bag is always worth it to me). And when the style is a little out of the ordinary, a statement bag can quickly elevate even the simplest outfit. In an effort to find the next big thing to add to my wardrobe, I rounded up a few emerging styles spotted on CF community members that are about to be in all of the #OOTD posts you’ll see on Instagram. You’ll definitely want to copy these bag trends ASAP.

The Trend: Primary Colors

Mix Eye-Catching Hues for an Unexpected Twist

A brightly-hued bag will add some excitement to monochromatic outfit—no matter the color. This casual crossbody, which fits just the essentials like your ID, debit card, and cellphone, looks so good with Stella’s denim-on-denim look. Plus, these bags are great for when you want to be hands-free (perhaps at a concert or for a night out).

Shine On With a Dressy Clutch

For a cool date-night combo, try pairing a patent leather bag with your favorite skirt and a pair of sheer tights. The velvet booties are a cool contrast to the shine of the bag. This is one of our favorite bag trends to test out during the winter months.

Combine a Bold Color With a Groutfit

For days when you have a little more to carry, this mid-sized red handbag is the perfect bold accessory to pair with a neutral outfit. People tend to think of neutrals as the easiest go-to handbag colors, but the truth is that red can be as versatile as you make it.

Provide a Pop With a Cool Print

A printed bag is a great complement to a solid-colored outfit. This floral bag is the star of the look when paired with a solid tank, denim bottoms, and simple sunnies. Or, if you’re feeling bold, give mixed prints a try and add it to a striped or polka-dot ensemble.

Amp Up an All-Black Ensemble with an Easy Carryall

When reimagined in a cool shade, a backpack is a lifesaver against an overstuffed tote bag. Kaili looks professional and class-ready with her bold (yet practical) backpack. To make it pop, she’s paired it with an oversized black blazer and classic skinny jeans. The style of this sack is simple, but if that’s not your thing, it’s the perfect blank canvas for pins and patches to give it a little more personal flair.
