ALL IN THE DETAILS: Charmed

I don’t know if you’ve ever been to Oregon, but the weather here isn’t exactly consistent but when it is, it’s rainy. We’ve recently encountered 80 degree sun, thunder and lightening storms, as well as just flat out rain. So to defeat the gloomy blues, why not replace the lack of color or pep from the great outdoors into your outfit? Personally, when I look good, I feel good. What better way is there to brighten your day and the people around you than incorporating adorable colors and styles into your wardrobe?

This Fashionista spited Mother Nature’s dreary vibe with sweet colors and patterns, mixed with classic comforts and eye-catching jewelry to add some flare. The pieces are individually simple but create an outfit that’s perfect for any day or occasion. From the everyday, anywhere American Eagle Outfitters jeggings, to her dusty pink polka-dot cardigan—her outfit is versatile and a great way to brighten up your day. Classic Sperry Top-Siders, the comfortable yet extremely wearable shoe for so many looks, adds a level of casualness to the outfit. A new take on the classic charm bracelet, her Alex and Ani bangles in addition to her intricate gold necklace add just the right amount of sparkle to her look.

The endless possibilities one can get on their bangles, rings, necklaces or handbags is almost overwhelming but more like an online shopaholic’s dream. From sports teams to sorority houses (although I am partial to Kappa Delta), the amount of different bangles and bracelets they have is actually amazing. This Fashionista styled her bangles in a preppy, casual way but have no fear—these babies can be worn with just about anything. These stackable wonders work with casual outfits in addition to more dressed up occasions.

How To: I’m not much of a bracelet person myself, but I wouldn’t deny the opportunity to wear some of these. If you, like me, don’t wear too much arm wear—try wearing it on the opposite hand of your dominant hand. Also, an awesome trait of these bracelets is that they are adjustable and work for all wrist sizes. So don’t be afraid to wear them with any outfit or just try a bracelet out for a week or two in general, you never know until you try!
