If you’re like me, repeating a complete outfit is something I try to avoid as much as I can. There comes a time when you realize that by simply changing the smallest of details in a favorite outfit you can make a repeated outfit look like new, while also making the simple accessories you own stand out.
Take it from this Fashionisto. It was hard not to notice his street style and his bright smile. His confidence was bursting through his outfit. The way most people looked at him, you could tell they either thought he was someone famous or at least should be. Rachel Zoe is known for saying, “Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak.” I feel this guy’s style was screaming out “celebrity crossing, all paparazzi welcome”.
This casual, comfortable look may seem like it has a lot going on, but if you really break it down, it’s the little details that make him stand out. Taking a closer look, you’ll notice he doesn’t focus on just one style. He really mixes them all together going from casual ripped jeans and sneakers to a dressier button-up and belt.
The American Eagle Outfitters ripped skinny jeans are just the start of the amazing look, giving it a pop of summertime white. The Express button-up is an item just about every guy has in his wardrobe. His all black Nike Roshes are another detail that brings this Fashionisto’s look to life, keeping it cool and comfortable and still look amazing. Since sunglasses are a summer essential, I felt his Oakley’s were a perfect detail for his “celebrity” coverage. But, the details that really brought his look together were his Hermés belt, Fossil watch and the eye catching North Skull bracelet. That pop of gold and black couldn’t have been more perfect. As Hubert de Givenchy has said, “Luxury is in each detail.” This Fashionisto’s details gave his casual “street style” look a luxurious feel.
How To: This look is super easy to achieve. Just break out your favorite jeans and a simple T-shirt, throw on some shoes that make you feel great and to complete the look add accessories that’ll pull it all together. Don’t be afraid to go bold and mix your styles like this Fashionisto did!
