STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Going Boho

What even is bohemian clothing? Well by definition it represents the style that gypsies or nomads wear. However, my definition is a bit different. During the past couple of years boho clothing has been all the rage. We’ve taken the nomad style and made it our own by elevating it and making it more ready to wear and a trend that will now never go out of style.

Boho clothing is so fun to wear and easy to style. What makes it so fun to wear is that it’s very feminine, breezy and very romantic. There are many brands that have even made their clothes completely boho such as Free People and Modcloth, and many other stores have incorporated a boho section such as Lulu’s and Urban Outfitters. When I picture someone wearing boho clothing I usually envision a lot of lace, detailing, floral print, anything flared and heavy on the jewelry.

This Fashionista really captures the essence of boho in her floral romper with a surplice neckline. I loved how she accessorized it with a black crochet maxi vest and a black floppy hat because it almost adds a bit of a grunge vibe to her already boho style. She completed her look with a beautiful hand chain, many rings and a really pretty stone layered necklace. Overall her look was amazing; to everyone who wants to achieve a classic boho look, I would use this Fashionista as inspiration.
