STYLE GURU STYLE: Tribal Touch

With the sun constantly shinning, all I want to do is run around outside. So, my go-to outfit right now is anything that flows and feels comfortable, especially dresses. Unrestricted and super cute, sundresses are the perfect item to wear on those scorching hot days. Plus, there are many options when it comes to stylizing a sundress, making it wearable for the beach or a dinner out.

Taking inspiration from the Etro spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection, I added a twist to my usual summer dress look. The runway show had a psychedelic, hippie vibe, taking lots of inspiration from the ‘70s. The fabrics used had so much texture and never stopped moving, creating a kind of elegance. All the outfits were then layered with unique necklaces. Using tribal prints, feathers and frills, the collection definitely appealed to bohemian festival-goers.

I absolutely loved the free flowing, tribal print clothing in the collection, so in this look I add a tribal print kimono to layer over one of my relaxed Free People sundresses. The kimono also has the movement that the Etro collection embodied. To further the bohemian feel, I accessorized with a wrap bracelet, a long, angular necklace and a flash tattoo. To top off the outfit, I put on some neutral colored, braided sandals. Throwing on my gold aviators, my typical sundress outfit is refreshed with a new ‘70s feel thanks to the Etro collection. However, it is still as comfortable as ever and I am all ready to enjoy the sunshine.

Get My Look: 1. Tribal print kimono. 2. Simple dress slip. 3. Long necklace.
