WHAT TO WEAR: Spring

Now that Spring Break season is officially among us, it’s about time to kick those oversized sweaters to the curb and bring on the cropped tops. Here in the Sunshine State, winter is far-gone and temperatures in the high 80’s are the new norm. This switch in climate calls for a drastic switch in wardrobe.

This Fashionista is dressed perfectly for a warm spring day on campus. She has on a great pair of high-waisted shorts, definitely a must on a sizzling hot day. I am a huge believer that high-waisted shorts are a must-have for any spring to summer wardrobe. The light wash color and distressed look of these shorts is definitely on-trend for the spring. This Fashionista pairs her high-waisted denim with a light pink V-neck top. She gives her simple V-neck a new appearance by giving it a cropped look with the help of a simple knot. I am totally digging the light, pastel colors of her look; I definitely see myself rocking these shades this spring!

For accessories, this Fashionista keeps it simple. She stays on-trend with a pair of white Keds sneakers. Keds are definitely coming back into style for the spring. The company has been inviting different fashion bloggers and YouTube Fashion Gurus to Design Workshops to help ensure their canvas shoes stay trendy. For jewelry, this Fashionista has on a couple of Alex and Ani bracelets to add a little personality to her look. To contrast the metal of her Alex and Ani bracelets, she has on an array of fun bracelets she has collected throughout her travels. To complete her look, she has on a dainty turquoise pendent, adding the perfect pop of color to her ensemble.

One Simple Change: Take this simple spring look to a vacation getaway on the beach by throwing on your favorite high-waisted bathing suit and a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses.
