WHAT TO WEAR: Mastering the Snowy Look

Sometimes, New York City weather is quite bipolar. One moment, you are enjoying class and looking out the window to see that it is a beautiful winter day. Five minutes pass and, all of a sudden, when you take a quick peak out the window again, there is a cloud of white hurdling past.

In any cold climate, you have to have your staple coat. This is especially true for New Yorkers. A coat that is going to keep you nice and warm even on the coldest of days is ideal because the cold never bothered us anyway, you know?

But what is even trickier than finding your staple coat? Attempting to master the cold weather look underneath.

Fortunately for us, this Fashionista has figured it out, all the way down to the accessories. Luckily, the recent snow days here in New York have not been too cold and unmanageable, so us Fashionistas can get away with quite a bit.

This Fashionista decided to rock the casual earth tone look by wearing a beige peasant top and pairing it with a sensible, yet classic, pair of blue jeans. But what makes this outfit unique are the accessories that this Fashionista added for the perfect finish. This Fashionista wore a pair of black booties, which are an absolute closet essential. If you want to add a little glam to an outfit, pick out your favorite pair of statement earrings (like the ones this Fashionista wears) to really spice it up a bit.

So, get creative and chic with your cold weather look, but remember to stay warm!
