Boys, it’s that time of the year again and no I’m not talking about any type of sports season. I’m talking about the season of formality. Yes, that means formal wear. As school wraps up within the next few weeks, there is no better way to commemorate the closing of another long and studious year than celebrating with all of your friends. Whether it’s a formal, a cocktail party, an interview, a speech or even a wedding, there are plenty of occasions that make ballin’ out in a tuxedo a necessity.
Now you’re probably thinking to yourself, how the heck are you going to wear this stuff? Well look no further and check out this Fashionisto! He’s a perfect example of how to sport the formal look and does so dashingly. As you can see, this Fashionisto looked snazzy and kept it cool while giving his final speech for a class. This Fashionisto flaunted a simple black tuxedo coat with matching black slacks. Underneath his tuxedo, he is sporting the perfect spring green button-down. To finish the top half of his look, he wore a cigar patterned red bow tie. Finally, for the bottom half of his outfit, this Fashionisto wore his new favorite socks (made by a company that was featured on Shark Tank)! For a more casual look as the heat starts rising and spring changes to summer, you could always switch the tuxedo for a light linen jacket and khaki pants with a tie.
One Simple Change: Although I’m sure not many boys would ever say, it but accessorize! Don’t be afraid to take the next step and put on a vest or a pair of suspenders for graduation attire. Even cufflinks could add a nice touch to finish off a dapper ensemble.
