WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

What to Wear

It is officially winter and that means it is time for winter outdoor activities. I am usually not a fan of outdoor activities at this time of year due to the cold temperatures in the Midwest, but I have always been fan of ice skating. From the gliding to the stumbling, I find that ice skating can be a romantic outing for couples this time of year. Also, it could be a good activity to do with some of your close friends. And let’s not forget possibilities of ice skating outfits… From cute skirts to printed jeggings, skating attire opens up a world of fun fashion.

This Fashionista is definitely setting a good example of how to stand out while ice skating.  I caught this Fashionista outside of the ice skating arena at Millennium Park in Chicago. As you can see, her bright pink puffer coat is mesmerizing. Aside from the coat, I am also obsessed with her sequined cross-body bag and how she managed to wear it so casually. Overall, this Fashionista’s outfit gets an A+ in ice skating attire. The next time you head out to ice skate, take a cue from this Fashionista and rock a bright puffer coat or sequin bag to add some flair to your look. Don’t forget to stop by Starbucks for some hot chocolate like this Fashionista did to stay extra warm while skating.

One Simple Change: Switch the basic black bottoms for some floral jeans to make an even bigger statement for class.
