So far, my stay in England has taught me three things: One, Pret-a-Manger croissants are everything. Two, when offered the chance to drink wine on the Thames with Polish boys, go for it. And three, every European owns a dog. Dachshunds, German shepherds, King Charles cavaliers—they are everywhere. As a self-proclaimed dog lover, this makes me miss my dog, Coconut, especially when I see West Highland White Terriers that may be his British cousins.
However, I will wear quirky cat clothing when the urge arises. Call me a fair weather cat lover, if you want. I sported this outfit during a recent performance of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar in Oxford. My blouse adds contrast to this black duo, which means that I won’t look like Wednesday Addams—not that that’s a bad thing.
