A cute sundress, wedges and fun accessories are a must in my wardrobe. Wearing these pieces together make the perfect outfit for me. Especially during the summer, a sundress is an easy change up to the every day shorts and tee.
Taking inspiration from the Fendi fall 2016 couture collection, I encompassed the fairy tale, childhood mood. The line was made for “very special people who have a special kind of life”. Some of the dresses were appliquéd with flowers made from hand-cut sheared mink. The dreamy, nostalgic mood drew me in to love the collection.
Continuing with the flower aspects, my floral dress I am wearing is a special piece. I kept with the color scheme adding a splash of a brighter color. I wanted to stay within the runway show theme but make it my own. To accomplish this, I put together an outfit that “doesn’t relate to everyone like ready-to-wear”.
My outfit includes a Lilly Pulitzer sundress with wedges. To add to the look I have on two bangles and a blue stone necklace. I kept my lip color simple and wore a light pink lip gloss.
A dress and wedges will always be a go-to outfit for a warm summer day. Both of the items can be found in any spring runway show. The pieces come together to create a special, noticeable look I love to wear. Who doesn’t want to stand out every once and a while? It is girly, alluring and chic.
