STYLE GURU STYLE: Fall Palette—Neutrals

It’s finally the perfect fall weather to pull out your favorite coat! I love that fall outfits can be as simple as a T-shirt and jeans but then that pop of fun with a long coat in an exciting print, color or texture. This coat is one of my favorites primarily because of the color but also because of its length. I’ve recently come to love the dramatic, long, luxurious overcoats because they dress up any causal look.

I love neutral style palettes! This outfit specifically is one of my favorites because it blends various neutrals together in a harmonious way. My shoes are from Public Desire and are some the comfiest sock boots I own! I love the detail on the heel and the natural color, perfect for any outfit.

I wanted to add some pops of color through my accessories so I paired this look with a red handbag and brown tinted aviators. This to me is a simply classic look that can be worn to brunch or shopping with the girls!

When dressing in a variety of neutrals, try to find a common ground between them all; something that brings everything together. For this outfit I matched the color of the coat stitching to the color of my sweater. This to me brought these colors together and allowed me to wear a darker, camel-toned shoe. Mixing neutrals can be challenging or scary at times but don’t be afraid to try different things on to see what works. It’s one of my favorite trends so definitely try it out!
