STYLE GURU STYLE: Fall Into Summer

This go-to outfit keeps things simple yet put-together by combining transitional pieces from spring and fall into a cool and wearable look that’s perfect for the start of summer.

As inspired by the Rebecca Minkoff fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. The overall collection was successful in showcasing printed dresses with generally cold-weather pieces like wide brimmed hats and knee high boots. While mixing neutral colors and classically structured garments with statement items that have a true bohemian flair. As well as adding a classic rock and roll feel with black and leather details. It goes to show all of the great possibilities when incorporating items you wouldn’t initially think to wear together.

Through this outfit, I was able to translate the trends presented into a casual look that combines both style and comfort. By first pairing a loose, striped T-shirt dress from Brandy Melville with black knee-high socks and black leather booties. To accessorize, I layered two simple silver chain necklaces, my Daniel Wellington rose gold watch and my wool wide-brimmed fedora to pull the whole look together.

The completed look is a fast and easy way to start putting together the seasonal pieces in your closet in a trendy and stylish way. Ultimately, helping you make use of your entire wardrobe all year round. Showing how staple items can help you dress up a look by adding detail and interest in order to catch the eye of everyone around no matter the season.
