STYLE GURU STYLE: Fall-ing For Fall

How’s it hanging Fashionistas and Fashionistos? Ah fall, a season not experienced by many Floridians like myself with the sweltering heat charging on well into the next couple of months. Even though the temperature has a while to cool off here, a girl can still dream can’t she? As images of Pumpkin Spice Lattes begin to make their grand debut on my Snapchat feed I know it’s about time to bust out those warm chunky sweaters and ankle booties.

Fall for me is a time for experimenting with rich warm colors and berry lips, all the while trying not to melt in the 80 plus degree weather as I walk around campus. The look I’m wearing today is perfect for people like me who get super excited to jump into fall inspired trends, even though the temperature outside and the upcoming season aren’t quite on the same page yet.

For starters I have selected this super comfy distressed pair of girlfriend jeans which allow my legs some breathing room all the while still being able to rock the denim look. I have then paired the jeans with a light weight lace detailed top which spices up and adds a feminine touch to the casual look of the denim. Let’s not forget about my favorite part of fall fashion, the boots.

To tie together this outfit I have chosen this simple and comfy pair of booties which make walking to class without getting blisters a breeze. Last but certainly not least, a girl can never have too many pairs of sunnies. This super reflective and affordable pair I got from Urban Outfitters makes people watching while sipping on a PSL at your local coffee shop undetectable and super stylish too! Even though ill be spending this fall sipping hot chocolate near my AC vent and then heading outside to hit the pool, it’s fun to imagine it’s fall outside and even more fun to dress like it.
