STYLE GURU STYLE: Comfy Casual

With spring being around the corner, it can be hard to try and find pieces that can be transitioned from the previous season. This can be even harder when you live in the Midwest and the weather can go from being 55 degrees and sunny to 25 degrees and rainy. The trench coat trend has been one that’s been on the uprise for a while now. Celebrities like Kim K and Kylie Jenner have been seen on multiple occasions wearing one. Recently during the Arthur Arbesser fashion show he brought it back and reconstructed the concept of a trench coat. He did this by making it more structured and pairing it with fun and playful patterns. He also focused on having looser fitting clothing. I decided to take some inspiration from his show and used items in my closet to make myself an outfit something that was more casual and more my style.

First and foremost, hats are a girl’s best friend, especially during the spring time. Not only will it protect me if the weather suddenly takes a turn for the worse but it also adds as the cute accessory. It also help the world avoid seeing just how bad of a hair day I was having. From there, I wanted to keep the outfit pretty simple by pairing my tank top with my insanely cute green trench coat.

I really wanted to keep the rest of the outfit pretty casual and went with the best thing to have ever been invented… boyfriend jeans. I’m obsessed with boyfriend jeans and for all the right reasons. They are some of the most comfy yet oddly flattering pair of jeans that I have ever owned. They help keep the outfit simple and casual making it something that can easily be worn to multiple occasions. I finished the outfit off with a pair of nude pointed flats, as well as my rose gold watch and my funky layered necklace.

Get My Look: 1. Distressed Boyfriend Jeans. 2. Floppy Hat. 3. Flats. 4. Halter Tank Top.
