The patterns are supposed to be trendy and fun. By adding flippy and fun ruffles to most of her pieces Miller achieved a flirty look. At the end of the show Nicole Miller added a suitcase to the collection, this was meant to inspire a vacation. There are many crop tops, and tight skirts in the collection. This inspired me to go with a tropical pattern for this look.
