STYLE GURU BIO: Olivia Pienta

Hey, fellow Fashionistas! I cannot believe that this is the beginning of my third semester with College Fashionista. If you are new to my articles let me just tell ya a little bit about myself.

I am currently a sophomore at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. I am majoring in fashion merchandising with a minor in business administration. Throughout my year and a half in school, I have really been able to grasp what careers I love in the industry and what careers I do not prefer. I have really learned to love writing through this internship but through work and positions with our fashion club, I have found a recent interest in public relations.

I feel as I am getting older and further into college my style is progressing with me. While I still consider myself preppy and classic, I have found to integrate trendy pieces into my wardrobe and have lessened the amount of color in my closet. My style inspiration is Sarah Vickers of Classy Girls Wear Pearls.

My outfit featured is the epitome of my style. I started off with a blue Ralph Lauren Polo button-down that is half tucked into a pair of baggy, distressed boyfriend jeans. Since it is time for those cold winter days I paired a long, navy wool coat that was my great grandmothers. I paired this outfit with a few statement pieces that scream preppy and classic, a pair of chunky cheetah heels and a bold costume jewelry choker necklace from Forever 21. I finished off this classic look with a berry lip perfect for winter days.
