Hi all boho babes and Fashionistas! My name is Kelli Stieglitz and I am a fashion student at Purdue University. In my opinion, a person’s style portrays them in a much more unique way than their words, so I styled a look in order to show you all who I am and where my passion for the fashion retail industry stems from.

June is finally approaching, the sunshine has taken over and the vibes of summer fashions have set in. While it’s been fun layering and bundling up in the latest winter collections, it’s time to take off our sleeves, add some color and let our hair down. The cold weather made for a long and dull year, so you can trust me when I say that I’m beyond ready to dive into the exotic, summer collections.

The first stop in my exploration of summer boho fashions is Free People’s 2015 Wild & Free collection. This collection has the perfect combination of color and prints to style any piece in any way desired. No matter the summer occasion, tunics, rompers and dresses with the right accessories are all great pieces to create the perfect, versatile, go-to wardrobe. This carefree collection inspired me to create something that reflected my own, free spirited style.

My favorite part about this collection is the originality that comes along with every piece and every style. The variety of print, color, material and detail allow every wild and carefree soul to create their own personal look. With that being said, no matter what the occasion is or how uncomfortable the weather may be, boho styles always dominate negativity by reflecting a brighter scene with more positive energy.

When creating a boho image, you can’t go wrong with simple pieces such as a printed tunic, layered or stacked jewelry and a neutral colored hat. With this look comes an exotic yet simple and comfortable yet original style. These pieces help me to be adventurous in my free time, to stay productive during my busy work schedule and to keep all of my fellow young, wild and free spirited Fashionistas inspired as well as up-to-date on the latest, summer looks, all at the same time.

So, style on with some of my favorites – printed tunic, layered necklace, stacked bracelets, and felt hat!
