Hey there! My name is Kasey McKiernan—Kasey Mac for short. I am a current junior at Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey. I am studying Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and Journalism. Having the opportunity to be a Style Guru for the first time for CollegeFashionista is extremely exciting. I have always loved fashion magazines and window shopping on 5th Avenue in New York City. If you know me, you know I love the mall. It actually is my second home considering I am there at least two to three times a week. Whenever my friends or roommates need advice on an outfit, I am the first person they come too. They like to ‘shop’ in my closet, because they say I have the best wardrobe. (Yes, I am gloating).
Since I go to school in a town where the beach is only half a mile from campus, I cannot wait to see how the style among my peers changes as we transition from the cold weather in winter to the 65 degree and sunny weather in spring. As for my style, I am an open book. One day I will have on plain white T-shirt with a comfy pair of jeggings, and the next I will be rocking my favorite vest and statement necklace, along with a pair of riding boots. My style changes with my mood. From sassy to chic and sweet to grunge, I love to try it all!
