Hi there! This is my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista so I’m going to introduce myself.
I’m Maria Isabel Vesga, most of my friends call me Isa. I’m 19 years old and at the moment I’m a Fashion Design student at Colegiatura Colombiana. I love so many things related to fashion like reading fashion magazines, thats why I was so interested in CollegeFashionista.
I also like drawing fashion designs for formal and casual wear and going to fashion shows. This semester I achieved one of my biggest dreams, which was to be a fashion designer for a show, and I made it! A week ago I was on a runway made by my college at the end of the semester. I designed two outfits and most of them were sewn by me as well.
Besides fashion, other things that I really love are plants and nature. I like to photograph nature, draw it and even use it in my clothes. I also love reading fashion blogs and would love to start a blog with friends to talk, not only about fashion, but about food, trends, DIY projects and beauty tips.
For my style, I’m really open-minded about fashion despite being such a shy girl. I love to investigate and follow different types of trends. I love patterns, specially flowers and stripes, denim, faux leather, wearing black and jackets! I have an obsession with jackets.
I think that’s everything to know about me, I am really excited to have this amazing experience.
