STYLE GURU BIO: Gianna Notarianni

Hello fellow Fashionista/os! My name is Gianna Notarianni. I am a rising junior at Sacred Heart University and an English Major with a minor in both Fashion Merchandising and Marketing and Business. This is my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista, and I am so excited to start my journey as a Style Guru!

I am happy to announce that I will be taking my blog overseas to find all of the amazing Fashionistas/os while I am abroad in Rome, Italy. In Rome I will be studying abroad for six weeks, taking two classes as well as seeking my next Fashionistas/os. I am extremely excited to see the amazing trends that Europe has to offer, as well as seeking the people who know how to wear it best.

Fashion has always been a passion of mine. I will admit I was not always a Fashionista. I never truly found my passion for fashion until I was about 15 years old. My mother, who is the most fashionable person I know, started to really open my eyes and made me realize that fashion is more than the clothes you put on your back. Everything I know about fashion comes from her, and it is thanks to her that I able to express myself through my clothes.

A little about me—my style is all over the place. If you were to look through my closet, you would find that my clothes range from a boho/hippie style to preppy. I will admit I have an eye that draws to all types of clothing. I am not the type of person that has a set type of style; I like to dress in all types of styles that portray different types of people. I am a person with a big personality, which calls for a variety of different styles. There are also two accessories I must wear with every outfit no matter where I am going. I must always be wearing a watch; I feel like it is a perfect way to complete my look, and it always makes me feel professional. And of course my sunglasses—I always have to have a pair of sunglasses with me, rain or shine.

I am beyond excited to share the trends I find while studying abroad in Italy for the first six weeks of the semester, as well as finding the hottest summer trends. I hope you all are ready to see the trends I find every Thursday. Enjoy and get inspired!
