Howdy my dear Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I’m Eliza or just Eli, and I’m beyond stoked to start my first semester as a Style Guru! I’m currently a senior studying marketing at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas; however, we Aggies affectionately know it as Aggieland. And for those of you, which is probably most of you, who don’t know, “Howdy” is the official greeting at my wonderful university. That’s just how we do it in Aggieland.
I can’t pin point exactly when my obsession for fashion started, but I can say that it is a huge part of my everyday life. I absolutely adore any creative form and fashion is by far one of my favorite ways to express myself on a day to day basis. My style changes just about as fast as my outfits change. Which admittedly, might be more than a few times per day on occasion! I can go from boho vibes, to a bewitching ‘90s-inspired look to a polished preppy ensemble just as quickly as I can have access to my closet.
For the most part, I would say that my overall look is very eclectic and experimental. I really like to change things up and be adventurous with my style. I look for inspiration everywhere I go. Whether it be from other Fashionistas, to films, artwork, really anything can spark my inspiration to try something new with my style.
I do have a few go-to pieces that I’m currently obsessed with including this jean jacket that I keep borrowing from my bestie. It’s perfect for the mild Texas winters we have here in Aggieland and always gives my outfits that classic and effortless look. These platform sandals are a recent addition to my wardrobe that I would be lost without and of course every girl needs a skater skirt or two, or even 12 in their closet.
