Hello there! My name is Caroline Thompson and I am a senior at Stonehill College, where I am majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Business. This past year has been quite the whirlwind, and I’ve enjoyed every moment. From studying abroad in Florence, Italy and traveling all over Europe to then return to my beloved America to wrap up my junior year in the amazing city of Boston, I am loving it all.
Throughout my college career, I have been fortunate enough to work side by side with CollegeFashionista and I am so grateful for the experiences I’ve gained. CollegeFashionista doesn’t only create and offer amazing opportunities, they also help to highlight some awesome college students across the world, which is my favorite part.
This summer I am eager to spot fashionable students along the East Coast and to learn from them as well. I love to meet Fashionistas/os and ask where they found a certain piece or accessory. There’s always a specific reason as to why their outfit caught my eye, so I try to absorb every aspect to then incorporate it into my own looks. My style is always evolving, which you can see from my posts this past winter, and I feel this is an important process for everyone to endure. Now that we’re in a new season I’m working on continuing my style evolution into the warmer months—we shall see!
Here I’ve highlighted my strong love for bold prints and patterns. I am a huge fan of statement pieces, whether it’s a necklace, a scarf or a pair of shoes, throw them on. They can always help in making your look more eye-catching, just be sure to keep it all well-balanced by tossing in some neutrals as well. I am super excited to continue contributing to CollegeFashionista this summer and am eager to see what awaits.
