STYLE GURU BIO: Andie Cabero

Hey there, fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Andie and I’m a newcomer in the CollegeFashionista world. I currently study at Palomar Community College majoring in Fashion Merchandising. I plan on transferring to Cal State Long Beach in order to get my Bachelors for Fashion Merchandising and Designing. During my free time I update my blog “Clothess-Minded,” go out to brunch, play around with my camera or go camping.

Growing up I loved nothing more then going to the store and walking along the endless amount of racks, reaching out and touching all the clothes. Fashion has always been a huge part of my life I enjoying nothing more then reading blogs and magazines to keep up with the latest trends while drinking a nice cold brew coffee. Besides fashion and styling, another creative outlet for me is floristry. My mother taught me about all different kinds flowers, how to care for them and everything I know about floristry.

San Diego really does have the best weather but as of late it has been a bit sporadic. It can be cold and rainy one minute, then bright and sunny the next. During this time, I’m rarely seen with out my denim jacket, I’m either wearing it or tying it around my waist. With this look I rocked it both ways. Underneath my jacket I’m wearing a Free People swing tunic as a dress and to top off my look with a white fuzzy knit beanie from Forever 21 and some Sam Edelman booties. I love this look because it’s feminine but also has a bit of an edge.

My style is ever changing. I’m like a chameleon; I can be girly one day in cute sundresses then street style the next. That’s what I love about fashion as well it’s always changing and never remains consistent. I am excited to see what trends this year will have in store for us and I can’t wait to share it with you. Till then!
