Hey, everyone! My name is Alexandra Donlin and I’m a junior studying journalism and public relations at Michigan State University. This is my first semester as a Style Guru and I could not be more thrilled to share my style tips with you. I’m constantly scrolling through Instagram and Pinterest to get inspired and you can always catch me reading Vogue. I take a lot of style advice from Gossip Girl and Scream Queens and think they are the epitome of chic. I hope to combine my love of writing, fashion and social media into a career one day! I basically want to be a famous blogger one day like Society Grl or WeWoreWhat.
I would describe my style as very glam and chic while always staying comfortable. That’s why blanket wraps are perfect for every Fashionista. The one I’m wearing is from Express and is so versatile. You can belt it with a funky belt (don’t be afraid to mix patterns) or just wear it like a big blanket, which is my personal favorite. You could easily dress it up with some cool leather pants or dress it down with regular leggings, like I did. These are also perfect for the holidays when maybe you ate a little too much and want to cover that food baby. Metallics are also something else you can never go wrong with. These shoes are great because they will add a lot to any outfit. You could just wear jeans and a white T-shirt and these will instantly glam it up. Plus slip-on sneakers are great for walking to class since they are super comfortable. This whole look will be great for those cold winter walks to class since the blanket wrap is so warm and thick.
