In the past, outerwear has been simple and honestly somewhat boring. Recently though, more textures and detail have been added to jackets and coats so that outerwear pieces are actually what make the outfit and pull it all together. In order to stay warmer in the winter, there are other pieces besides the go-to puffy L.L.Bean winter coat.
This Fashionista took outerwear to the next level with a fringed suede jacket from Target. As I stated in my STYLE GURU BIO, suede has been a clothing material trending right now, and the fringe detailing just makes it that much better. The jacket that she is wearing is so much more appealing than a normal winter jacket and gives the look a boho feel. Because of the detailing, there is no need to be heavy with accessories, and keeping everything else simple is key. This Fashionista styled a simple Brandy Melville necklace with her outfit.
Now obviously, depending on the weather, you will want to layer up or choose a heavier jacket, but this jacket is perfect for those slightly warmer winter days. The jacket is also paired with a light T-shirt also from Target, medium wash H&M jeans and dark Lucky Brand boots.
