I spotted this Fashionisto looking classy on his way to class. Accompanying his white polo T-shirt he had on a dark gray hooded peacoat, which was an essential on this sun-filled and brisk day. He also had on a pair of dark washed denim jeans, which he pin-rolled, giving his look a bit more detail and accentuating his dark brown boots. To complete the over all look he wore a canvas backpack with tons of compartments!
I admired his backpack the most because I thought it brought the whole entire look together. The khaki color flows nicely with the neutral colors he had on and the style of it was not like an ordinary backpack. It had a variety of pockets of all different sizes, which come in handy for things like electronics, books, pens, water bottles, etc. It’s also very stylistic and was adorned with leather straps and gold colored buttons.
So right now, you may be thinking, “Ok, well my backpack holds stuff too…,” but I admire this backpack specifically because of its sleek casualness. Unlike your ordinary Herschel or Jansport packs, this one had a worldly feel to it. It could be worn for school, travel and city outings where you need to bring a few things with you that wont necessarily fit in your pockets.
I found a similar backpack to the one this Fashionisto was wearing from ASOS, which features contrasting straps and comes in a variety of colors. If you are one who likes to travel and has an appreciation for well-made backpacks, Tumi makes a variety of quality bags and backpacks for men. If you’re looking for a traditional backpack that’s not as big but can hold all the essentials take a look at this Herschel backpack from Topman, perfect for a laptop, tablet or a few journals.
While browsing through sleek backpacks I came across yet, another style from ASOS that really caught my eye and became my favorite. It’s sleek, contemporary and great for the man seeking for more than just the basic or traditional.
There are so many more unique options out there to choose from, especially from online retailers. Most of your favorite brands also have some type of backpack and just by searching, you’ll be surprised to find all of the really cool styles and patterns to choose from. Whether you are a traveler, festival goer or just a fella trying to get to class, having the right pack can make your day way better than one that is already falling apart. You’ll keep everything you need all together and look sharp at the same time.
My style advice of the week is to seek some of your own favorites for the upcoming summer and fall seasons or even now. Backpacks can be used any time of the year especially if you are an athlete or an artist of some sort. It’s always a good idea to sport a well-made backpack on your shoulders.
