Style Advice of the Week

With the weather warming up here on campus and the snow beginning to melt, having the proper shoe attire should be “too cute to boot.” When the snow melts it tends to turn into huge puddles that you just can not avoid. Leaving you to either have to jump over tip-toe around or do the inevitable and walk right through them. Wearing the proper but still fashionable water proof boot on days like these are just as easy for males as it is for females.

The Fashionisto featured was spotted on campus in his brown Polo Ralph Lauren Conquest III High Boots, perfect for this time of year with puddles every couple feet. His grey zip-up sweater was a good choice on his part based on this hot and cold weather we have been experiencing lately. It has been warm enough to leave the North Face at home, but cool enough to still leave the newest edition to your spring shoe collection in the box.

For the ladies on campus there are a few options since the boots this particular Fashionisto is wearing are made specifically for men. They can wear a classy pair of rain boots, like these by Michael Kors, or go a little more on the wild side and get a fun print or pattern. Wearing Timberland for men or women is always an option and will definitely get the job done when it comes to cold winds and wet conditions. While there are high hopes of sunny days and spring break on the rise here at Western, the need to keep your feet warm and dry is still necessary an a priority.
