STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK: Comfort And Fashion Are A Thing

With the heat of summer right around the corner, everyone is ready to relax and bring out fun outfits that aren’t only colorful, but comfortable as well. This week’s STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK is all about the one thing many question: can comfort be fashionable? I got the chance to talk to a Fashionista who believes in comfort over everything not only for the summer, but also all year-round.

Recently we’ve all seen muscle tank tops taking over our favorite stores; they’re not only comfortable but are actually pretty cool. Go ahead and wear them out on your workouts, or to yoga class, but bring them out for a fun night out on the town or a day at the beach this summer. This Fashionista agrees that they’re a must-have for the summer. Their designs range in variety, as they can be rugged, chic and fun, so picking one out may be the hardest part.

Comfort doesn’t take much effort, what does is piecing an outfit together. This Fashionista wore a simple muscle tank top with denim shorts. Minnesotan weather has been kind of unpredictable, so she layered her outfit with a plaid hooded shirt. She added a bit of her personality by pairing her outfit with combat boots by Charles Albert. To top it all off, if a messy bun doesn’t scream comfort, then what does?

Don’t be afraid to bring out the bright and high-contrast colored items that are stuffed somewhere in your closet, especially bandeaus, and accessories, to make these comfortable looks with muscle tank tops happen this summer. Just make sure they’re as fun as your personality!

What is your style advice of the week? “Clothes shouldn’t only be about looking good, but feeling good, too. Comfort is everything, feeling warm and cozy or fresh and fun. Simply feeling good about yourself can really go a long way”
