Well Fashionistas/os, finals have finally come to an end. This means we can stop looking like zombies and start looking fabulous again. As you know a huge part of creating your own style is putting together pieces you find interesting. I advise everyone to step out of the box when putting together an outfit, but always stay true to yourself. Fashion is all about being unique and creating a style that best fits you and that’s exactly what this Fashionista did.
In this Fashionista’s look she paired a sleeveless, cream, turtleneck crop top with a pair of black skinny jeans . She added a pop of color with her satin pink slides. You always want to add a dash of color to any black and white look to spice it up whether it’s with a colorful lip or a fun pair of shoes. This Fashionista also opted for a colorful lip. Her deep purple liquid lipstick really ties the look together. The deep purple lip adds edge to an otherwise sophisticated look. The puffballs in her hair make the look more fun and somewhat childlike. The hoop earrings complete the look adding some sass to the outfit.
You always want to put your personality into a look so people can get a sense of who you are. This is exactly what this Fashionista did; she put together pieces that were unique to her and the different pieces really worked well together. When mixing and matching different looks you don’t want to go too far. The different pieces shouldn’t be too matchy, but they should all have a similar characteristic to tie the whole look together.
Black and white pieces are easier to work with because you can pair them with just about any color and it can work. It also depends on how you wear the outfit. Play around with different patterns and colors. I would even suggest trying bold lip colors or eyeshadow to make the look stand out more.
