Spring break can’t come fast enough for the students of Ole Miss. With the recent influx of cold air and the past week of midterms, we’re all ready to hit the road and relax. But before you can get to where you’re going, you have to suffer through the commute. If you’re traveling by plane, planning what to wear for the airport can sometimes be the hardest part of packing. Even though you may be landing in a tropical paradise, airports often feel like the arctic tundra. But to make sure you don’t freeze while making the commute, take a note from this Fashionista.
First off, she opted for a lightweight, leopard print sweater. The great thing about this sweater is that it’s long enough to be considered a tunic, therefore, appropriate to wear with leggings. A lightweight pullover or cardigan is ideal for an airport because it will keep you covered without making you too warm. Likewise, leggings are great for traveling because they’re thin, more comfortable than jeans and won’t stretch out through a long day of commuting. For me, they’re my go-to whether I’m traveling by plane or by car.
The thing I love most about this Fashionista’s outfit is that she’s dressed fully in neutrals but adds personality to it through the printed sweater. Therefore it’s subtle, but still catches your attention and adds just the right amount of style.
One Simple Change: If your final destination is a sunny spot, swap the leopard sweater for a girly, printed sundress. To top it all of, bring along a bright carry-on to add a splash of color. Even better? It can double as a beach bag once you arrive.
