When I woke up this morning and looked at the weather app, I couldn’t help but cringe at the sight of “ten degrees.” Of course this made getting dressed for classes much more difficult and time consuming than usual for me, but for our Fashionista, the task seemed almost effortless.
The first and most obvious part of this Fashionista’s outfit is her coat. Bearing a loud print, it not only catches eyes, but it also makes a statement about the Fashionista’s sense of style. A funky print is perfect for someone who is daring with outfit choices- and nothing says ‘bold’ better than printed outerwear.
Secondly, by keeping all other aspects of her outfit simple, this Fashionista is able to better display the main part of her ensemble. If not for a pair of simple black leggings and black boots, attention could have been taken away from her coat and on to other parts of the outfit.
Because she paired this coat with a simple red scarf, this Fashionista was able to simply accentuate the colorful buttons on the coat- another aspect that may have gone unnoticed without the right styling.
Although a great coat may not be all you need for cold weather, it is the perfect start to the perfect winter outfit.
