Going out to brunch on a weekend morning can sometimes be the highlight of my week. Catching up with friends, reliving fun moments about the night before and complaining about tests and projects in the week to come are all basically standard procedures. On a weekend morning, it can be hard to find the motivation to look your best, however you may not want to walk into the restaurant in a pair of sweatpants either. Achieving that perfect balance between comfortable and cute is key, but can sometimes be difficult to achieve.
Fortunately, I snapped this Fashionista in the cutest brunch look. She has absolutely perfected the easy-chic look with her comfortable but ultra-trendy pieces. Her leopard coat makes a fashion-forward statement while also keeping her warm on a chilly morning. Her bright stripes are trendy but classic at the same time, and mixed prints are a daring way to show off your personal style. Classic ballet flats and skinny jeans are always a “do,” and her black beanie is warm but so adorable too. To top of her look, this Fashionista put up her hair in a low maintenance side braid, which is a great and doable upgrade from a ponytail.
One Simple Change: To transition this look from day to night, simply substitute heels or wedges for flats, and trade out a beanie and up-do for glamorous curls. Then add a trendy bright lip color and you’re ready to go!
