STYLE ADVICE: Spring Up Your Wardrobe

Spring is almost here and it’s time to incorporate some spring pieces into your wardrobe. Spring being only a few weeks away brings excitement to many of us. Nice weather, hanging out with friends, outside concerts, ditching the big oversize winter coat, and last but not least…this dreadful semester coming to an end. Let’s all take a moment for a sigh of relief!

Living in a city where the weather is in the high 60s one day and a snowstorm the next, bringing out the spring apparel can get kind of tricky. If you live in a city with this same kind of weather pattern, it is always best to keep oversize sweaters, jeans (good for any season), basic long sleeve tops, booties, and a leather jacket in your closet. Having these staple pieces in your closet will ensure that you will be ready for any kind of weather that comes your way.

To spice up your springtime wardrobe, try adding some pieces in there that aren’t expected for a springtime go-to outfit. This Fashionista makes wearing a turtleneck dress look effortless and chic while pairing it with a pair of brown lace-up booties. For the perfect springtime hairdo, she did the popular half-up ponytail look, which was giving off major Spice Girls vibes. To add a nice, warm pop of color, she added a burgundy lipstick that tied this outfit in perfectly. She accessorized minimally by carrying a simple, long strap black bag, and adding a few bracelets and a retro pair of sunglasses to keep the outfit fun. This Fashionista is springtime approved!
